Not always. Packing assistance may be available depending on the size of the collection and the amount of work involved.
Can you remove books from upstairs or other areas of the home?
Possibly. Stairs, multiple rooms, difficult access, or more involved removal may require an additional service fee.
What if the collection requires multiple trips?
Large collections that require multiple trips, additional loading, or extended time may have a service fee. We’ll review that with you before scheduling.
How many books do I need for pickup?
Pickup generally begins at around 100 books. Availability also depends on condition, location, access, and our ability to redistribute the collection.
Do you buy books?
No. Local Book Pickup is a removal and redistribution service and does not purchase collections.
What happens to the books after pickup?
We sort the books individually and redistribute them through the channels best suited to receive them.
