We accept most books including hardcover, paperback, children’s books, cookbooks, non-fiction, textbooks, coffee table books, and home library collections.

Local Book Pickup was created because removing hundreds or even thousands of books can be overwhelming. This is especially true during downsizing, estate transitions, and retirement moves. We handle the physical and logistical work of removing large book collections. Books are then redistributed through the channels best suited to receive them.

Our local book drop bin is located at 40 E Timonium Rd, Timonium, MD 21093. The location is well-lit, easy to access, and conveniently located at gas station for safe drop-offs.

Yes. We may accept DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, magazines, and other media depending on the collection. However, our primary mission is to responsibly rehome books.

Book pickups are free. However, if you need packing assistance, boxes, materials, and labor to prepare and haul away large book collections, a service fee may apply depending on the size of the project.
