How It Works
Removing a large book collection can feel overwhelming. Whether you're downsizing, settling an estate, helping an aging parent, moving, or preparing a home for sale, Local Book Pickup was created to make the process simple.
1. Request
Fill out our pickup request form and tell us a little about your collection. Photos are always helpful, but they're not required. Whether you're downsizing, settling an estate, helping a loved one, or clearing a large home library, we'll review your request and contact you to discuss the next steps.
Many large collections qualify for free pickup. We'll respond within 24 hours.
2. Review
We'll discuss the approximate size of the collection, your location, accessibility, and any questions you have. Every collection is different, and we'll let you know what to expect before scheduling.
3. Schedule
Once everything is confirmed, we'll arrange a book pick up time that works for you. Depending on the collection, books may be gathered from shelves, boxes, bins, or another convenient location.
4. Removal
On pickup day, we'll carefully remove the books so you don't have to worry about lifting heavy boxes, making multiple donation trips, or figuring out where everything should go.Our goal is to make removing a large book collection as easy and stress-free as possible.
